Farina’s bio

German; Writer & Storyteller; Yoga Teacher  focusing on Yin Yoga & TCM, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Philosophy

Farina lives and breathes yoga every day. She has turned her spiritual calling into her profession. She loves that yoga connects people with one another in their search for inner peace, happiness, physical and mental health. Furthermore, she has understood that the yogic path is unique for every person.

Farina’s first 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2018 was focused on Yoga Philosophy, Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. One of her teachers was Alonso. From him, she learned everything about Vinyasa Yoga, the effects of yoga asanas on the individual body and the art of leading a yoga class with dedication, presence and love.

Later, she deepened her knowledge with several yoga teacher programs, specialising in Yin Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Myofascial Release (MFR) and Yoga Nidra.

She is particularly grateful for her studies under Jo Phee, which is why Farina teaches her yoga classes in the tradition of Yin Yoga founder Paul Grilley. This means that Farina teaches yoga in a functional way, making her classes accessible and suitable for all her students.

Currently, she is enrolled in the studies of Traditional Yoga Philosophy at the renowned Kaivalyadham Institute.

Farina’s classes focus on the process of interception. She infuses the practice of yoga asana with her knowledge of yoga philosophy and TCM.

It is important to her that the uniqueness of each person is valued. She creates spaces where her students feel welcomed, and they can encounter themselves. For Farina, teaching yoga means a lifelong process of learning, self-discovery and supporting others.
